Overview of Day of Play 2012

Our annual Day of Play was held on November 15th at Victoria Park Golf Complex in Kelvin Grove.

International guest speaker Jeanette Fich Jespersen, KOMPAN Play Institute’s International Manager, spoke about global play trends and the importance of accessibility and inclusion.

Two case studies were presented by Kate Luckraft (ASPECT Studios) and David Hatherly (Vee Design), who also spoke about designing playful open spaces.

Guests were then encouraged to find their inner child with a hands-on experience of ICON’s Rocky equipment.

Feedback from the event was very positive and we are sure next year’s will be even better.
