The KOMPAN Play Institute

The KOMPAN Play Institute is an international network of play and child specialists who monitor how different trends in society influence children’s development and play patterns. The Institute also initiates and takes part in different research projects around the world, aiming to benefit children, teenagers and the adults who work with them by sharing knowledge.
The KOMPAN Play Institute compiles research in a broad range of academic fields, including play and health, play and ages, play rights, inclusion and accessibility.
Always eager to share knowledge, the KOMPAN Play Institute runs campaigns designed to increase general awareness, as well as documenting children’s need for active outdoor leisure and play facilities. Their latest campaign, Nowhere to Go, highlights the demand for active outdoor places for young people today.
